GLENN HUGHES To Embark On 'An Evening With' Solo Acoustic Tour

Legendary bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes (BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION, DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) will embark on his first U.K. solo acoustic tour featuring incredible acoustic interpretations of songs from his remarkable musical career. This is bound to enthrall not only hardcore fans but anyone with even a passing interest in the life and times of a modern day rock legend.

The dates are as follows:

Nov. 14 - Leicester Square Theatre - London, UK
Nov. 15 - Glee Club - Birmingham, UK
Nov. 16 - Glee Club - Cardiff (Wales),UK
Nov. 20 - Glee Club - Nottingham, UK
Nov. 22 - Band On The Wall - Manchester, UK

Hughes recently released his long-awaited autobiography, "Deep Purple And Beyond: Scenes From The Life Of A Rock Star", via Foruli Publications. The book was co-written with Joel McIver and features an introduction by METALLICA's Lars Ulrich.

"Deep Purple And Beyond: Scenes From The Life Of A Rock Star" features contributions from Hughes' friend and comrade in DEEP PURPLE David Coverdale, his lifelong musical collaborator Tony Iommi of BLACK SABBATH and a host of others, including Angie Bowie, John Varvatos and the members of THE KLF (with whom Hughes scored a global hit in 1991).
